We started this project with one major idea. FREE. There are alot of sources for genealogy and ancestry online but we began to get frustrated with the monopoly that have gobbled up all the resources and that promise free search, only to discover a hidden fee to get the results. That's when we decided to create something real, and really free. A community driven ancestry site where the resources are easy to access and use. Where paid resources are offered but as an addition option for those that need it. We shouldn't have to pay for public information, Thats the core of our project.
